James has been a professional pianist and keyboard player for many years and has worked as a session musician with many top professional touring bands and corporate wedding bands in the country.

He has years of experience working in all types of musical settings and genres and can supply valuable knowledge and advice when arranging the music and song selection for your church ceremony, drinks reception and party band.

He has toured America and Europe with many professional acts playing prestigious venues such as Carnagie Hall in New York and St.Paul’s Cathedral in Chicago. Irish Venues he has played in include The 3 Arena,National Concert Hall,Vicar Street and Electric Picnic.

His studio work consists of various roles such as  session keyboard/piano  player, Engineer, Producer, Arranger and Orchestrator.

International clients include Producer Charles Fisher (Savage Garden, Celine Dion, Olivia newton John), Oskar Saville (10000 maniacs),Bernie Marsden (Whitesnake) and various X-factor and The voice contestants.

Irish acts he has worked with include Liam Lawton, Sharon Shannon,Brian Kennedy, Charlie Mcgettigan, Bagatelle, Daniel O Donnell, Jonny Feen of The Horslips,Eimeer Quinn,The Celtic Tenors and many more.

He has appeared on a number of Live concert DVDs for numerous artists and has regularly appeared on the Late Late Show as a session musician.

James also works as an Arranger and co-writer on many albums and has regularly recorded with the Prague Philharmonic Orchestra. He holds two separate degrees in Classical music and Jazz performance and a Masters Degree in Orchestral composition.
